Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling opened their season on Thursday night against the Earlham Cardinals, and were able to put together a quality effort as they were able to grab the team win 57-20.

The Tigers were able to record 10 wins on the night, including three falls with Jake Alexander at 113, Rylan Baase at 126, and Thomas Nugent at 160 being the three Tigers to accomplish the feat. ADM was able to grab a technical fall win from Aiden Flora at 132, and David Finnegan at 138 winning via a major decision.

Penn Weineth at 170, Ben Smith at 145, Wesley Royer at 285, Dylan Busta at 220, and Nathan Tapken at 195 were all able t win via forfeit.

The Tigers will be back on the mat tomorrow when they compete in a tournament at Dallas Center – Grimes high school.
