The WCV girls basketball got their first win of the season.

The Wildcats started the 2021-22 season on Monday. They can up just short against Southeast Warren. WCV hit the road to end the week against Ogden.

The Wildcats came out firing on all cylinders in this one. Jumping out to a big lead early and never looked back. They even managed to shut out the Bulldogs 17-0 after the first quarter. WCV kept raining buckets, giving them a 39-5 halftime lead.

WCV’s defense continued to dominate shutting out Ogden in the third quarter and only managing to allow 10 points all game long. This would propel the Wildcats to a 50-10 win.

WCV will hit the road on Monday to take on Ankeny Christian. That game will tipoff at 6pm.
