Dallas Center – Grimes girls basketball will be back on the court tomorrow and Saturday, with games against Grinnell and Des Moines Christian.
The Mustangs have not stepped onto the court in almost a week, and though they started with a nice 4-1 record, they will be looking for continued progress and improvement. Junior Emma Miner leads the team in scoring at 14.2 points per game and junior Finley Fitzgerald averaging 12.8 points per game. Mustang basketball as a team has put up at least 50 points in every single game this year, and have showcased an offense that moves the ball well and is difficult to slow down.
Despite the pace of play, the Mustangs have put up 52 turnovers as a club through five games, a solid mark.
Both games will be on the road, with the game at Grinnell tomorrow night at 6:15, and the game at Des Moines Christian happening at 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
