The Dallas County Fair continues tomorrow with its third day of action and will hold plenty of reasons to go out to the fairgrounds.

Friday’s activities include the 4-H/FFA swine show at the show ring and the 4-H/FFA and Clover Kids rabbit show in the entertainment plaza both beginning at 8 a.m. Also, there will be 4-H working exhibits at 2 p.m. in the community building and Mr. Nick Balloon Artist from noon to 5 p.m. near the gazebo.

Other activities include Dallas County Farm Bureau stories at center stage, county council sponsored games in the show ring, 4-H static exhibits on display in the community building and kids celebrations near center stage. Dallas County Extension Youth Coordinator Elizabeth Emley tells Raccoon Valley Radio about some of the other events taking place during Friday of the fair.

“We have a super cool Pigs and Pals program that is run by our youth committee chair and then we have Share the Fun, so that’s where 4-H’ers can come out and show off their talents and then we are going to show off our working exhibits (as) those were judged in the spring and so bringing that back to the fair and having those kids show off their hard work is really important.”

Raccoon Valley Radio’s Big Red Radio will be live on location from the Dallas County Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. providing results and other announcements.
