Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball is gearing up for the upcoming season, and one of the things that they will be focused on will be finding some quality shooting from the roster for the upcoming year.
A year ago, ADM as a team attempted 415 threes and were able to make 90 of them, shooting a team percentage of 21.7%. The Tigers are projected to bring back around 40 made threes from a year ago, and will be hoping to have an attack that is more efficient from deep, with plans to stretch out the defense and make things tougher.
Claire Greenslade led the team in made threes from a year ago with 37, with the top returning player in made threes being Nicole Storek, who hit eleven in her junior campaign.
ADM will be hoping to find some players to step up and fill a void left from the three point shooting from a year ago.
ADM basketball will be opening the season next Monday when they host the Norwalk Warriors at home. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
