The Perry Booster Club will remind residents to come out and support their annual fundraiser this weekend 

The fifth annual Tinsel Trot 5k Run/Walk will be this Saturday with check in at the Raccoon Valley Bank at 10am. The cost to participate is $30 for an adult and $20 for a student. Perry Booster Club President Mindy Baxter tells Raccoon Valley Radio that this is a needed  fundraiser to properly fund Perry activities. 

“Clubs they’re becoming very demanding, and especially with inflation, the price is going up on everything. Right now. Just some purchases at the Booster Club have been made in the past year. We have a $5,000 revolving uniform check that gets sent to the school for uniforms every year. So that’s one thing that encouraged the idea for the fundraiser was just to help out with that fund.”

To get registered there will be forms at the Perry High School, Perry Middle School, rec center, Snap Fitness, Ben Franklin and Perry Perk. There is also an online form located at the Perry Booster Club Facebook page.
