Tori Ogden has begun season number two as the head girls’ basketball coach at Greene County High School. At Tuesday’s Media Day the coach talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about the differences between year one and this season. “We return a lot more experience than last year, which is nice, so I’m seeing a lot more basketball knowledge than they had prior to. We saw some good things at the Jamboree (vs. Ft. Dodge St. Edmond) the other night that even threw me off that I wasn’t expecting. I think we’re going to surprise some people with the things we do, especially after losing our leading rebounder and scorer from last season.” Brianna Habben graduated last May, but everyone else from 2021-22 is back.

The Rams open with a girl/boy doubleheader vs. Ogden at Greene County High School on Monday, Nov. 28. Coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com starts at 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 o’clock and the boys to follow.
