One Paton-Churdan student was picked as the lucky winner to watch the Iowa State University men’s basketball team later this season.
First Grader Khloe Minnehan was randomly drawn during a Caring Christmas Food Drive broadcast with Raccoon Valley Radioon Monday at Paton-Churdan School. Principal Annie Smith says Minnehan was entered into the drawing for a four pack of ISU men’s basketball tickets to the game on February 11th against Oklahoma State University in Ames after she donated non-perishable food items leading up to the live broadcast.
Smith notes all students that donated food items were entered into the drawing. They donated about 100 items to the local food pantry in Jefferson, the Greene County Action Resource Center.
