Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry High Schools will have students perform today at their designated sites for the Iowa High School Speech Association District Large Group Contest.

ADM High School will have 74 students that make up 12 groups at the district competition in Creston. The categories performing include One Acting, Reader’s Theatre, Choral Reading, Ensemble Acting, Improv, Radio News, and TV News.

Also, Perry High School will be sending 12 students in nine groups at Johnston to perform in categories that include Readers Theater, Musical Theater, Radio Broadcasting, Improv and Short Film.

Those earning a Division 1 rating at the District Contest will move to the State Large Group Speech Contest at Waukee High School on February 4th.
