
The ADM Tigers baseball team picked up a nice 10-4 road win over the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays last night. The ADM Tigers had nine total hits in the game and two of them were home runs hit by Junior Grant Rychnovsky and sophomore Grant Jansen. The ADM Tigers were lead in hitting by junior Grant Rychnovsky, junior Rhylan Stine-Smith and sophomore Grant Jansen all getting two hits a piece. Junior Grant Rychnovsky now leads the ADM Tigers now with three home runs on the season. Senior Luke Greth pitched five solid innings and got the win while only allowing three runs and giving up three hits while striking out six Bondurant-Farrar batters last night. Sophomore Grant Jansen and senior Sam Holloway came into relieve senior Luke Greth to help him secure the 10-4 win over the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays. ADM Tigers head baseball coach Jason Book said the ADM Tigers really played well last night.
This win for the ADM Tigers will put them at a 11-4 overall record and 3-1 in the Raccoon River Conference record on the season. The ADM Tigers have today off and they are back at tomorrow night at home. (Tomorrow) on Wednesday June 7th the ADM Tigers will be at home in Adel hosting the Winterset Huskies in another Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup with a first pitch at 7:30 pm. On Thursday June 8th they will be in Carlisle to take on the Carlisle Wildcats in a Raccoon River Conference regular season matchup with 7:30 pm first pitch. On Friday June 9th they will host the Ballard Bombers in a makeup game from last weeks postponed game, first pitch of that game will be at 7:30 pm. The next ADM varsity baseball game broadcast on KKRF – K1079 FM and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com will be this coming Wednesday June 7th as they will host the Winterset Huskies with a 7:30 pm first pitch.
