
The Dallas Center-Grimes softball team had poster night against Pella on Monday night.
The Mustangs signed a lot of posters after they scored a ton of run against the Dutch. They outscored scored Pella 20 t0 1 in a doubleheader. The first game ended in mercy rule in four innings by a score of 12 to 0 and the score in the second ended up being 8 to 1. Both starting pitchers for the Mustangs collected a win including Audrey Johansen throwing four innings scoreless and Tessa Jones throwing five innings scoreless.
Bella Mulder had a big night at the plate in both games totaling five hits, five runs batted in and a two run homerun. Zoey Valenta also left the yard with a single shot. Additionally, Reese Burke tallied four hits and two RBI’s.
DC-Grimes improves their record to (9-2) and will take on Norwalk at home on Wednesday.
