The Dallas County Hospital is celebrating 70 years of service in 2024 and has received money between three grants to help in various areas.

The hospital hosted a gala on April 19th, which was a way to help fund for their surgery renovation. According to DCH, the Bock Family Foundation presented them with two separate grants to help raise money for new otoscopes in the clinics of Perry and Dallas Center, while another grant is funding the hospital’s blessing box. The total between the two grants closes in on $10,000. An otoscope is a device that doctors use to examine a person’s eardrum.

In addition, the Dallas County Foundation awarded the hospital with a check of $5,325 going towards a blanket warmer in the ambulatory space.
