The top academic high school seniors in the two school districts in Greene County were recently recognized with one of the state’s top honors.
The Governor’s Scholar Award was presented to Greene County senior Nathan Behne and Paton-Churdan senior Paige Bryson. The award is given to the top performing senior for their high academic achievements. This recognition is based on the student’s first seven semesters of their high school career. Each student received a plaque and a certificate.
The award is sponsored by Governor Kim Reynolds, the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Farm Bureau.
