State Wrestling for the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustang girls is just two days away as Coach Rex Gray and his 8 state qualifiers prepare for the journey to the Xtreme Arena in Coralville. Class 2A action begins first on Thursday morning, with Nia Kiley kicking off the action for the Mustangs at 105 facing off against Katie Biscoglia of River River Northwest.

Rex Gray expressed how he does not plan on making an changes to the Mustang game plan before the state tournament. “I think we’ve done a good job all year of having a game plan of how we want the day before a meet to look like or two days before a meet should look like. We really aren’t going to change too much going into state.”

Mustang girls wrestling action begins on Thursday morning as Class 2A begins first at the Xtreme Arena in Coralville.
