Three seniors from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Golf Team were selected to the Academic All-State squad for the spring of 2025.

Annelise Kreifels, Mackenzee Lathrop, and Kelli Storck are being recognized for their high academic achievements by the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. The Tigers completed the 2025 season with a record of 32-20 overall (6-1; 2nd inside the Raccoon River Conference).

For the nine hole average, Kreifels was at 50.24, Lathrop was 52.40, and Storck was at 58.36. In the 18-hole average, Kreifels came in at 101.03, Lathrop was at 101.13, and Storck was 110.18. Head Coach Dana Brown has qualities she adores about each one of them.

“Kelli Storck (is a) great athlete. She’s just a mentally tough, up for any challenge, she actually led us in our regional meet. That was a great way for her to end (her high school career), she had a great round to go out on. Annelise got that All-Conference for us, she golfed our number one spot this whole year. She’s improved greatly over the four years she was with us. Kenzie, I think she’s very responsible, she’s super trustworthy, she’s accountable, (and) one of the toughest on herself, sometimes perfectionist, but all of those qualities over the four years just watched her build into a great golfer and great teammate.”

ADM placed fifth as a team with 417 strokes in the Class 3A Region 2 bracket in Carroll on May 21st.
