A Perry man was recently taken into custody following a vehicular incident that occurred late Thursday evening.

According to court documents, the Perry Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance along West 4th Street around 9:30pm, where a female victim told officers that 22-year-old Christian Love attempted to use his 2015 Ford Taurus to strike her vehicle on the driver’s side, causing the vehicle to spin out and hit the curb. 

The criminal complaint states that the victim’s vehicle tire was torn, had a bent rim, and a crack in the rear driver-side bumper. Another passenger in the victim’s vehicle corroborated the events that had happened regarding the incident. Court documents show that Love was arrested on three counts of aggravated misdemeanors for 1st Offense Domestic Abuse Assault Display or Use Weapon, Child Endangerment, and Assault While Displaying a Dangerous Weapon. 

Love is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $2,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
