The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Baseball Team suffered their 20th loss of the season on Thursday to Pella, as the 6th inning was the difference maker.

The Tigers were on the road, and the Dutch came out the gates with the first 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. However, ADM stayed focused and notched 3 runs in the top of the 4th to take a 3-2 advantage, but Pella responded in the bottom of the 5th with 3 runs of their own to possess a 5-3 lead. The Dutch wouldn’t stop there, as they would rack off 7 more runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to walk away 12-3 winners.

Tiger sophomore Jack Siefken had the loss, going 4.2 innings pitched, allowed 7 hits, 5 runs, and captured 3 strikeouts. Scoring runs for ADM was senior Grant Jansen, sophomore Cael Stanford, and freshman Ben Grife.

Pella is now 21-6 on the year and will have senior night on Monday with a double header versus Washington. ADM is now 9-20 overall and gear up to host Carroll on Monday at ADM High School in Adel at 7pm.
