The AC/GC Chargers baseball team is in action today, as they begin their postseason push.

The Chargers head to Woodbine to face off against the AHSTW Vikings in first round action for the Class 1A Substate 8 Bracket action. This will be the first time that the teams face off against each other. For the Chargers, Tommy Skram leads in hits with 27, while Noah Kading leads in RBIs with 19. Kading leads in the pitching stats as well, being credited with three of the team’s wins, and having a 3.23 ERA and 40 strikeouts. For the Vikings, Braden Fineran leads in hits with 20, while Camdyn Dresen leads in RBIs with six. Kiptyn Lamp leads in wins for the team, credited with two, while Dresen leads in ERA with a 1.73, and Aiden Akers leads in strikeouts with 52. First pitch is at 5pm, with the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network to broadcast the game live on 107.9FM and the KKRF online live stream.
