
The Perry School Board will meet in regular session on Monday.
The board is seeking to reappoint multiple positions for the 2025-26 school year, including a legal counsel, a bank depository and limit amount, a level one and two Student Abuse by School Employee Investigators, District Equity and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Officer, Title IX Coordinators, an Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator, and a Homeless Coordinator.
Other items that are on the agenda seeking approval include a University of Northern Iowa cooperative agreement, a Perry High School Band and Choir Trip request to New York City, a Buena Vista University collaboration agreement, an emergency mutual company renewal for the property and casualty insurance program for 2025-26, Universal Free Breakfast for all students, along with a bakery and milk bid, and nutrition price increase for 2025-26.
Additional items up for approval include a 2025-26 para-educator, middle school staff, elementary and family, high school student and district support staff handbooks. They will also consider for approval a food service agreement with the Perry Child Development Center, and a delegation of construction change order approvals not to exceed $50,000 to the superintendent.
The meeting is open to the public and is happening Monday evening at 6pm inside the Perry High School Brady Library, 1200 18th Street.
