This Sunday will be several opportunities for anyone to hear live music in Jefferson.

The Tower View Team with Jefferson Matters is hosting the 3rd Annual Porch Fest, as Jefferson Matters Director Matt Wetrich explains this free event where attendees will get to enjoy five different musical acts.

“There’s four front porches which means, bring a cooler, bring your lawn chair (or) whatever you want, you’re going to stop at the first yard. Plop a chair down, get comfy, watch 45 minutes of music, (and) move onto the next front yard. Do that. Four different front yards you get to see live music, one after the one. And then find your way downtown to Thomas Jefferson Gardens, the street will be closed, there’ll be some food trucks and then the Weary Ramblers with Jefferson’s own Chad Elliott. They’re music is really growing and it’s a great opportunity to come and be a part of it.”

According to the Tower View Team, the first performance takes place at 1:30pm and the final show with the Weary Ramblers is from 5:30-7pm at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens. The musicians, the times and locations can be found below.
