The leader of the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Football Team details how he’d like the offense to operate this season.

Head Coach Doug Winkowitsch is going into his second year with the Tigers and says the main approach coming into this season is to simplify the game by moving the ball downfield. He outlines the plan of attack is to run the ball effectively and strike with quick passes to control the tempo of the game. Winkowitsch points out that he is hoping the offense and defense will create depth.

“Our number two’s and three’s (players) need to understand that they’re going to make us better. It’s constant improvement, especially offensively, the offensive line, we’ve got some young guys in there with some veteran guys and we need to continue to find a few more guys that we feel really good about being our two’s and three’s.”

Winkowitsch believes that ADM has lots of firepower on offense, but is really concerned about keeping on the opposing defense on the field for as long as possible. The Tigers open the season on the road in Winterset, with a 7:30pm start Friday night. Raccoon Valley Radio will carry the broadcast on K107.9 KKRF.
