The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will hear a department update from Mental Health Advocate Brett Michael, and consider for approval a salary consideration. They will also hear Department Head updates from County Treasurer Brenda Campbell, Facilities Manager Brandon Thompson, Health Services Director Jotham Arber, and County Engineer Josh Sebern.

Additionally, the Board will consider for approval a tax abatement for a parcel of land in Yale and a storm shelter payment. They will consider for approval two resolutions setting an agreement between the Guthrie County Secondary Roads Department and the Iowa Department of Transportation for a living roadway trust fund grant.

The meeting begins at 9am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend in person, there is a digital option available via Microsoft Teams. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
