Coach Chris Heristerkamp’s Greene County High School volleyball team is in today’s 5 p.m. ACGC quadrangular in Guthrie Center on the heels of a strong performance on Saturday at the South Hardin Tournament in Eldora. The Rams won three of four matches in Eldora and went 6-3 in sets to improve to 4-6 in matches this season. The host Chargers enter today with an 8-4 record, while Panorama is 2-4 and SCC is 6-10.

The coach told Raccoon Valley Radio she liked the overall performance of the team at South Hardin. Among the highlights was the depth the Rams showed hitting the ball, as well as getting contributions from a number of players in all aspects of the sport.

It’s Homecoming week in the Greene County schools, and today’s action is the only volleyball on the schedule due to a number of other scheduled activities.
