Photo belongs to the Dallas County Hospital

The Dallas County Hospital Foundation recently held its annual Golf Outing, where they raised a substantial amount of money to pour into their services.

DCH Public Relations of Marketing and Foundation Director Tom Harmsen tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the organization saw over 150 people show up to the River Valley Golf Course in Adel on September 26th. He highlights that through donations, approximately $30,000 was raised to go towards expanding the Cardiopulmonary Department. 

Harmsen shares that the Cardiopulmonary Department will be adding 500 square feet to their facility for testing and treatment to combat heart and lung diseases. He reveals that the project is planning to be done before the end of the year.
