A Dexter woman was recently arrested for an incident dealing with alleged theft.

According to court documents, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reported that between October 1st, 2024 and July 10th, 2025, 34-year-old Shari Lowe allegedly transferred $4,722 from a victim’s bank account to her own. Deputies spoke with Lowe on the phone, where she stated that the victim previously gave her consent, but the victim’s spouse told deputies that the victim had a medical history that wouldn’t allow them to be able to give consent. 

The criminal complaint shows that Lowe had previously set up multiple of the victim’s email and financial accounts, which gave her direct knowledge of usernames and passwords. The sheriff’s office arrested Lowe on a warrant for a Class D Felony of Theft 2nd Degree.

Lowe is currently being held in the Dallas County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
