With Veterans Day coming up on Tuesday, there will be several offices and businesses closed in Jefferson.

The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County ISU Extension Office, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office will be closed on Tuesday in observance of the holiday. Library patrons are reminded that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday. 

Jefferson residents are reminded that garbage routes will be delayed by one day, starting on Tuesday with the holiday, and will return to normal schedules the following week.
