The schools in Guthrie County will all be holding their annual Veterans Day programs on Tuesday.

Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center will host a veterans breakfast at the high school from 7:30-8:15am, with a parade beginning at 8:30am. The parade will start at the high school, travel to the Guthrie Center Elementary building, then proceed along 1st Street before turning onto State Street and returning to the high school. At Panorama, the student council has arranged a short program thanking veterans during homeroom from 8:15-8:30am.

West Central Valley will hold their annual Land of the Free Because of the Brave programs honoring veterans. The elementary students will perform their program at the high school starting at 9am, to be followed by the high school performance at 10:15am. There will then be a veterans lunch at the high school starting at 11am, which is free for veterans and their families. The meal will consist of a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, fruit, fresh veggies, a dessert and milk. The final program will take place at the middle school in Redfield at 2:30pm.
