
The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in session tomorrow morning due to today being Veterans Day.
The Board will consider for approval 2025 family farm applications after hearing from Guthrie County Deputy Assessor Jessi Heimerman, then the quarterly report from Veterans Affairs Coordinator Beth Watson. They will also consider for approval final plans for the Adair-Guthrie Hot Mix Asphalt resurfacing project on 350th Street from Redwood east two miles, federal-aid funding with the Iowa Department of Transportation for a bridge replacement project on Luna Avenue between 140th Street and 150th Street, and right of way contracts for permanent and temporary easements.
The Board will then canvass and certify Guthrie County election results for the 2025 city/school elections, before considering for approval fiscal year 2026 budget appropriations. The meeting will begin at 9am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. For those unable to attend the meeting in person, there is a digital option available via Microsoft Teams.
