As the Adel community is in search of a new city administrator, there will be a public forum happening tomorrow.

According to Mayor Jim Peters, there are four candidates remaining for the City Administrator position. He notes that former City Administrator Anthony Brown resigned at the end of June of this year, and the process began shortly after that to find a new one. Peters explains that people are welcome to stop by the Raccoon Valley Community House, 1016 Main Street, in Adel to have a conversation with the candidates in order to get to know them. 

Peters outlines that following the open forum, Adel City staff will be conducting interviews and could appoint someone to the position within the next week. The event is free and is taking place tomorrow from 2:45-3:45pm.
