With the weather continuing to get colder, the anticipation grows for Panorama Activities Director Bruce Dahlhauser.
Dahlhauser expresses that although the temperature may cause people to stay indoors, he believes that the sports world comes alive, specifically in high school with the crowd noise, a pep band, and the delicious concession food. He illustrates that one event doesn’t supersede the other, but rather everything builds off of each other.
“I think just the overall atmosphere of high school athletics, especially when you’re looking at a gym, and in close quarters, and the amount of energy, excitement, and noise. Put all that together (and) it’s hard to beat. But I think too, just the amount of activities that we have. So one, it’s the options that we have for kids. They can pick anything that fits them, there’s something truly for everybody.”
Dahlhauser notes that his role as AD keeps him busy as there’s normally an event scheduled every day of the week, outside of Wednesdays, but enjoys seeing students shine while following their passion.
