The Perry Jayettes basketball team is on the road today as Perry travels to Hoover High School in Des Moines for the 2025-26 season opener against the Huskies. Tip off is scheduled for 6:15pm.

Junior Lily Myers and the Whelchel sisters look to help guide the Jayettes towards success after ending last season with a 5-17 record falling to ADM in the regional quarterfinals. Myers, led the team in points and rebounds last season with 210 points and 256 rebounds. Now senior Karagyn Whelchel, had the third highest points scored with 143 last season, while junior Kalley Whelchel had the third highest rebounds for the Jayettes last season with 98.

Myers and the Whelchel sisters look to guide Perry towards success as the Jayettes tip off for the first time tonight on the road at Hoover High School against the Huskies. Tip off is scheduled for 6:15pm.
