A pair of youth wrestlers from Greene County won titles on Saturday night in Oklahoma at the World of Wrestling 2025 Tulsa Classic. Mila Sebolt won the girls’ 12U 68 lbs. weight class and Johnathan Thompson won the boys 15U 89 lbs. crown. Sebolt is from Jefferson and Thompson is from Grand Junction. Both wrestle for Sebolt Wrestling Academy of Jefferson where TJ Sebolt, Mila’s father, is the head coach.
Sebolt was a 13-3 major decision winner in the championship match over Kayleigh Vest of Illinois. For the two day event, Sebolt won three matches by major decisions, one by a technical fall, and one via a 9-2 decision.
Thompson dominated his weight class with a 5-0 record and technical falls in all five matches. He won 19-2 over King Hawkins of PA for the title.
