The weath prompted Greene County school officials to postpone all activities on all levels yesterday. The Greene County basketball teams were to have hosted Class 1A Glidden-Ralston. Those games have been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20 with a JV boys’ game at 1 p.m. with varsity girls playing around 2:30 p.m., and the varsity boys playing around 4 o’clock. The two varsity games will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.

The Rams are set to host Heart of Iowa Activities Conference rival PCM (Monroe) tonight in Jefferson on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Coverage is scheduled for around 5:45 p.m. with the girls playing at 6 and the boys to follow. The PCM girls are ranked eighth in Class 2A and are 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the HOIAC while the girls from Greene County are 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference. The PCM boys are 3-2 overall and 2-1 in the league while the Rams are 1-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.

Ram wrestlers were postponed against Roland-Story and West Marshall (State Center) last night in Story City. That action is expected to be made up, but no date was immediately announced.
