Christmas is upon us and there will be lots of closures for Greene County and the city of Jefferson.

The Greene County Courthouse and the Greene County Extension Office are closed today through Friday. The Jefferson Public Library is closed today and tomorrow in observance of the holiday, while the Jefferson City Hall and the Greene County Community Center are closed at noon today and will remain closed on Christmas Day. 

Library patrons are reminded that nothing is due when the library is closed for a holiday.
