A non-profit organization in Jefferson recently announced an increase for its scholarship program.

The Jefferson Does are now offering two $1,000 scholarships to one graduating Greene County High School male and female. According to Does President Shelly Berger, she says that because of the generosity from the community at their fundraiser, they were able to make this increased commitment this year. She appreciates the support and this is one of the ways their organization gives back to the community.and the youth. 

Berger adds that students can apply for their scholarships at the high school, with the awards night happening next month.
