
Applications are currently open to see who is going to be this year’s Dallas County Fair Queen.
Organizers of the annual contest invite young women between the ages of 16 and 21 who live in Dallas County to participate. Each contestant must be an active member of at least one service organization in her community, from a church group to Girl Scouts, FFA, or others.
Organizers add that contestants will have the chance to represent their community, build confidence and leadership skills and make lifelong friends. New this year, a $500 scholarship will be awarded to the 2026 queen.
Applications are due before 4 p.m. on Friday, May 22 through the Dallas County Fair’s website. For more information on how to register, click here.
