Tonight is the Paton-Churdan High School Prom.

Amanda Tasler is one of the organizers and says the theme is “A Night in Paradise” and the decorations will have a topical feel. She points out that the public is invited to check out the decorations at the school gym from 6:45-7:30pm.

Tasler notes that the Grand March takes place from 7:30-7:45pm, followed by pictures and the dinner to be served from 8:15-9pm at the school and the dance will be from 9-11pm.

Deonne Robey, with the Post Prom Parent Committee, says that After Prom will be from 11:15pm-2am where students can enjoy a wide variety of entertainment from inflatable games, a caricature artist, an arts and craft area, karaoke, as well as video games and board games. She states that students will have lots of opportunities to win high-value items such as tvs, a laptop, and JBL speakers, among other prizes.
