Perry Fine Arts will host a pair of shows tomorrow afternoon.

Chairperson Cathy Clark says the Iowa Scottish Pipes and Drums will perform at the Perry Performing Center, followed by the Foy School of Irish Dance.

She adds that the Iowa Scottish Pipes and Drums are based in Des Moines and were founded originally from the membership of the Iowa Scottish Heritage Society in 1975.

Clark details that the Des Moines satellite location of the Foy School of Irish Dance opened in the Fall of 2004 and has grown to over 60 dancers. She explains that the group performs traditional dances and contemporary choreographed numbers that both enchant and entertain.

Clark encourages area residents to come enjoy an afternoon of wonderful entertainment.

She says while the shows are free to the public, free-will donations to Perry Fine Arts are accepted. The groups will perform starting at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Perry Performing Arts Center, 1200 18th Street.
