The AC/GC Chargers track and field teams competed Monday night.

Both teams were in Jefferson for a meet hosted by Greene County. The girls team finished 8th overall with 43 points. There were 12 scoring performances, with two top three finishes. Those both came from Cadence Peterson, finishing 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.39, and 3rd in the high jump, clearing a height of 4ft 8in.

The boys team finished 4th overall with 82 team points. There were 21 scoring performances, with eight top three finishes. The sole gold medal performance was a 1:03.9 finish by Collin Stringham, Morgun Nolte, Tommy Skram and Brexton Schneider in the shuttle hurdle relay. There were also two four silver medals earned, with Schneider finishing the 110 meter high hurdles with a time of 16.17 seconds, Talon Noland finishing the 400 meter race in 51.13 seconds, the 4×800 meter relay team of Preston Kent, Lane Stringer, Jonny Kading and Andrew Baumert finishing in 9:23.78, and Jack Sheeder ending up with a throw of 48ft 7.25in for the shot put. The three bronze finishes came from Kent in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:11.63 and the 1,600 meter run with a time of 5:44.91, as well as a throw of 125ft 7in from Brennan Tunink in the discus.
