The West Central Valley Girls Soccer Team participated in their seventh contest in Des Moines on Tuesday, beating Grand View Christian 5-2 to stay undefeated.
The Thunder opened the scoring three minutes into the game for a 1-0 lead, but the Wildcats responded with three consecutive goals, before Grand View Christian notched one more as the half saw West Central Valley hold a 3-2 advantage. Two more goals by the Wildcats would carry them to a 5-2 win.
West Central Valley junior Addilynn Richter and senior Maren Hoffmann tallied two goals a piece, as senior Meleah Speichinger came through with the other goal for the Wildcats. West Central Valley continues to remain hot, now sitting at 7-0 and will face fifth-ranked in Class 1A Treynor on the road tomorrow, who is also undefeated. Tomorrow’s match begins at 5pm.
