Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach has ongoing registration for a May event.

Program Director Shelby Van Horn says that individuals will be able to take part in a foraging workshop on May 20th. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio more about it.

“The participants will be having a hands-on session preparing and sampling their foraged vines, and this is with Anne Riordan up at Springbrook.”

Van Horn mentions that the class will take place from 5-7pm, and that registration is required, which is $20. She adds that to register for the event, call the Extension in Guthrie Center, or use the QR code in their Facebook post about the event.
