Nominations are open for the 2026 Wall of Witnesses in Perry.

Carnegie Museum Librarian Candi Coffin says Hometown Heritage invites community members to submit nominations for individuals that would qualify to get a plaque on the wall in Soumas Court. The Wall of Witnesses is designed to honor individuals with ties to Perry who have made a significant impact in the area.

Former Mayor Glenn Theulen was the 30th recipient to receive a ceramic relief in Soumas Court in 2025. Coffin details that the deadline for nominations is May 1 and forms can be found at either the Carnegie Library Museum, the Perry Public Library, or online here.
