The Panora Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with a few fun events to end the week.
Library Director Molly Allen says that they’ve had some fun events all week, but that their two most interesting ones start tonight with the Stuffie Sleepover. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio what that’s all about.
“We’ll have a bedtime story time. And then we’ll do some songs. A small craft, and then after our story time is over, the kids are invited to leave their stuffies at the library overnight. Then the stuffies can have some fun overnight, and we’ll get pictures of it, and then they can pick their stuffies up the next day, and then see all those pictures of all the fun that their stuffie had at the library overnight.”
Allen mentions that the second fun and interesting event comes this Saturday with their poem drop-in event for National Poetry Month. She adds that the Stuffie Sleepover will be from 5:30-6:15pm tonight, and that the Poetry Drop-In activity will be from 9:30am to noon on Saturday.
