West Central Valley junior Willow Ray will be competing in the 116th Drake Relays tomorrow on the Blue Oval in Des Moines.

Ray is the only representative for the Wildcats that will make the trip to Iowa’s metro, and will participate in the Girls High Jump event. She is ranked third in the event, behind North Polk junior Reese Wagner and Mount Ayr senior Aubree Shields. During West Central Valley’s last meet in Van Meter on Monday, Ray won the high jump going a distance of five feet and four inches.

The Girls High Jump will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30am at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
