The Stuart People for Active Library Service are hosting a presenter tomorrow.

Members Carol Brewer and Kathy Johnson share that they are hosting author Linda McCann, who will be going over her book, “Rosie Riveters in Iowa.” Johnson shares a reason why the group wanted to bring in McCann.

“I’ve always seen that image and looked at the strength in that and today it’s something we take for granted. But then it was the women really coming in a miraculous way to help out.”

Brewer mentions that McCann worked with her grandchildren on this book, gathering information from around the state to put it together. The presentation is tomorrow morning at the Stuart Public Library beginning at 10am.
