A familiar face for those who use services provided by New Opportunities is stepping away from the program.

Family Development Coordinator for Guthrie County Rhonda Huggins will be retiring from the position after 9.5 years of service to the community. Huggins has been instrumental in helping individuals and families with applications through Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program applications, running the Guthrie County food pantry, and heading programs like The Giving Tree over the holidays. On Monday from 1-3pm, there will be a retirement party at the New Opportunities office in Guthrie Center City Hall, and her last day will be April 30th.
