Tonight is the Greene County High School Prom. 

Principal Karen Shannon says the Grand March will take place at 6pm at the high school auditorium and the public is invited to attend or they can watch remotely by clicking here. 

Shannon states that the banquet will then be at the Greene Room Events Center at Wild Rose Casino and Resort at 7pm, followed by the dance in the same location from 8-10:30pm. She notes that After Prom will be back at the high school from 11pm-2am, with the doors open from 10:30-11:30pm. 

Superintendent Brett Abbotts wishes everyone to enjoy prom, but do it responsibly.

“There will be some of the events that will be off school property and to remember that you are representing not only yourself but you’re also representing your school and school district. So to act with some humility and humbleness and be responsible and respectful, and also have a good time. You can do all of those things and still have a good time.” 

Shannon stresses that once the doors close to begin the After Prom festivities, no students will be allowed in and if students need to leave before 2am, they will not be allowed back in.
