The West Central Valley Soccer Teams will welcome Van Meter into Stuart tonight for a doubleheader match.

Both the Wildcat girls and boys are 7-0 on the season, playing well as a collective unit. For West Central Valley girls, senior Meleah Speichinger is leading the team in goals scored with 11, with junior Addilynn Richter right behind tallying eight.

The Wildcat boys have great balance on their side, as five players are responsible for at least five goals individually. Junior Garret Wolfe charges the way with eight, followed by seniors Aiden Brandon and Gabe Gerling contributing with seven, then it’s sophomore Luis Huerta and senior Trajan Rummel with six goals a piece.

In the head to head matchup, West Central Valley girls haven’t beaten Van Meter in their two meetings, while the boys are 3-3 through six contests, but the Bulldogs have taken the previous three games. The girls will take the field first at 5pm, then it will be the boys at 7pm from West Central Valley High School.
