The Panorama Girls Soccer Team played their fifth game in Panora on Monday against East Sac County, winning 8-1, behind senior Morgan Crees’ six goals.

After suffering their first loss to Treynor last week, the Panthers came out making a statement on Monday, nabbing three goals in the first half to lead 3-0 at the break. The Raiders were able to put up a single goal to avoid the shutout, but Panorama captured five more goals to roll to a 8-1 win.

In the victory, Crees led the Panthers with six goals, followed by senior Karli Kautzky and freshman Kailee Kautzky who had one goal and one assist apiece. Also, sophomore Ruth Fett notched one goal, and senior Taylor Fronapfel finished the night with an assist. Panorama sophomore goalie Meredith Arganbright was responsible for four saves in the game.

The Panthers improve to 4-1 on the season, as the Raiders fall to 1-6 overall. East Sac County will have another road game in Carroll today, and Panorama will host Van Meter tonight in Panora, starting at 5:30pm.
