The Panora City Council met in regular session Monday night.

The Council approved the second reading of an ordinance amending zoning regulations for light industrial districts, as well as waived the third reading for the ordinance, and a resolution approving an updated professional building inspection services agreement with Veenstra and Kimm. They also discussed the submission of an application for the Hometown Pride Program, but did not act on the item, and discussed a request from the Panora Chamber of Commerce to give the city an official slogan, “Come for the View, Stay for the People.”
